Yes you can, if you’re under 30 years old. While we give priority to those within the age range of 17 to 24, we do consider other applicants. Fill out our waitlist sign up form and we will contact you should spots open up in the future.

Code Youth’s program is completely free. We do our best to accommodate individual needs such as providing bus passes. Fill out our waitlist sign up form to inform us of any special accommodations you may need and we will contact you.

Our program lasts between 10-12 weeks.

Code Youth’s training centre is located in Ottawa and is currently being offered online while dealing with COVID-19 concerns.

Please indicate that you are interested in signing up for the next program that runs every 12 weeks by filling out our waitlist sign up form. We will contact you once we receive your form.

Yes. All participants will be required to stay for the full 10-12 weeks of training.

No. Currently, Code Youth’s program is only offered in English.

Absolutely. Our program is designed specifically for those with no coding experience.

Yes. Code Youth will not provide any missed materials except under exceptional circumstances such as personal illness. As such, skipping classes will greatly affect participants’ success in the program.

No, Code Youth will provide you with everything you need. Just come in ready to learn!

Code Youth teaches the fundamentals of the basic coding languages required by IT employers. Coding languages taught in each 10-12 week program is tailored to the interests of the group. Code Youth also provides job readiness training including, mock interviews, resume and cover letter workshops.  For more information, visit our what will I learn page.
