Yes you can! While we give priority to those without a high school diploma, we do consider applicants who face barriers to employment. Apply and we will contact you when spots open up in the future.

Yes you can, if you’re 30 years old and under. While we give priority to those within the age range of 17 to 29, we do consider other applicants. Apply and we will contact you should spots open up in the future.

Code Youth’s program is completely free of charge to participants. We do our best to accommodate other individual needs. Apply to inform us of any special accommodations you may need and we will contact you.

Our program runs for 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and lasts between 10-12 weeks.

Code Youth’s office is located in Ottawa. However, the program is offered online especially during COVID-19.

Yes. All participants will be required to stay for the full 10-12 weeks of training.

No. Currently, Code Youth’s program is only offered in English.

Absolutely. Our program is designed specifically for those with no coding experience.

Yes. Code Youth will not provide any missed materials except under exceptional circumstances such as personal illness. As such, skipping classes will greatly affect participants’ success in the program.

No, Code Youth will lend you a laptop and provide you with office supplies. Just come in ready to learn!

Code Youth teaches the fundamentals of the basic coding languages required by IT employers. Code Youth also provides job readiness training including, mock interviews, resume and cover letter workshops.
