Yes you can, if you’re under 30 years old. While we give priority to those within the age range of 17 to 24, we do consider other applicants. Fill out our waitlist sign up form and we will contact you should spots open up in the future.

Code Youth’s program is completely free. We do our best to accommodate individual needs, providing both breakfast and bus passes.  Fill out our waitlist sign up form to inform us of any special accommodations you may need, and we will contact you once our program becomes available.

Our program will last between 8-10 weeks.

Code Youth’s training centre will be located in West Ottawa.

We are currently hard at work developing our program. Before we launch our first 8-10 week course, however, please indicate that you are interested by filling out our waitlist sign up form. By filling out our form now, you will be among the first considered to participate once courses become available.

Yes. All students will be required to stay for the full 8-10 weeks of instruction.

No. During the pilot project, Code Youth’s program will only be offered in English.

Absolutely. We are designing our curriculum specifically for those with no coding experience.

Yes. Code Youth will not provide any materials online, except under exceptional circumstances, such as personal illness. As such, skipping classes will greatly affect students’ success in the program.

No, Code Youth will provide you with everything you need. Just come in ready to learn!

Code Youth will teach the fundamentals of the basic coding languages required by IT employers. Coding languages taught in each 8-10 week program will be tailored to the interests of the cohort. Code Youth will also provide job readiness training, including as mock interviews and resumé and cover letter workshops.  For more information, visit our what will I learn page.
